gettingridoftheb...how serendipitous
Meegwetch
How ‘bout you
Find a lab coat and apply inapplicable
Teal scrubs, all snug underneath?
Visiting Physician, emblazoned above Heart, below Nipple.
Imposters, “every Mother Fuckin’ last one ‘ah Ya,” (Pulp Fiction)
You could tell me about what’s happening to you.
You could make me aware
Let me know
Gimme a heads-up
You’re dying
The conception of a cause
Inapplicable to the phenomena
Witnessed.
You’re not in the ground on the shores of Mile Lacs,
42 feet down.
You’re not pushing up Gebera daisies.
Meegwetch
Northern Lights
She dances with Strange Names in
Mansions of open eyed
Dreams alive with grand thoughts
That should have been written down
While sailing the freeway north
Following Orion’s Belt.
Lost weed at intersections nevermore
Crossed by the souls of everless on
Puffs of Camel 99′s and whisps of Mr. Nice Guy.
Shackled by no chairs, running in lavender
Fields, chasing the gargoyle on her arm
Who whispers with screams
Lamenting the freedom below and
Above the asphalt black
Canvas waiting for her eyelash
Brush strokes of comets and Roman candles
Exploding from her flame.
As her star gently sets over
Her northern horizon,
I can only be grateful for the chance to bathe in
Serena’s Aurora.
Just Joe - 2/12/16 “Miss You” doesn’t begin to describe.
It's been a while since I could pick this up again. Been a little busy trying to breathe and just keep moving forward while the most amazing and truly sparkling influence on my life suddenly was gone. Here I am though, and the breaths are coming a little easier. I missed feeling all of you, yet I needed to take care of a lot of shit that I really didn't want to face. On a positive note, I'm not ending up homeless, my work situation is improving dramatically and I've got a lot more true friends than I even suspected...including YOU! You helped save my life, and Serena loves you for it. She's looking out for us and always will. Thanks again and I promise I'll see ya round the block. Oh, by the way, some things do seem fun. It's just taking a little time. Take care ♡ Joe.
