Weekly weigh in 31/03/2014

:D Keep up the great work everyone!!!!
Weekly weigh in 17/03/14
Last week: 88.9kg (195.9bs) This week: 88.6kg (195.3lbs) Difference: -0.3kg (4.2lbs) Height: 167cm (5'6) Start weight: 103kg (227lbs) Overall loss: 14.4kg (31.8lbs) Not a huge loss this week, but thinking back I wasn't taking care with my portion sizes and I did let myself have more 'treat' foods than I should've. Still a loss is a loss and now I'm more determined to get back on the horse and start dropping more weight again! Hope you're all doing well! Keep fighting the good fight! (Also I made a pretty new template for posting my weekly weigh in so look out for that next week)
Biggest loser
Official weigh in today...I'm kind of nervous even though (based on my home scales) I know how much I've lost this month. Excited as well though to keep up my motivation etc by seeing it there in black and white! :D
Once you get this, you have to say 5 nice things about yourself, then send this message to 10 of your favorite followers :)
Hmmmm. I promise I haven't been ignoring this, I just really had to think hard about 5 nice things that I haven't already said as to not seem redundant!
1. I'm pretty nice, in general. My biggest goal is to be a "humanitarian" type of person. Equal rights for everybody and anybody... as long as they're nice to each other, of course!
2. I'm good at organizing... especially other peoples' stuff. I think being neat and tidy feels refreshing, so I'd do that for someone else in a heart-beat!
3. My chin (not the one that's not supposed to be there) is pretty darn cute, I think! It's nice and small and pointy. (This was really just to throw in one physical trait that wasn't my hair, eyes, or cheeks).
4. I'm quite a generous person, in my opinion. My boyfriend and I were talking last night, and I said that if I were ever to become wealthy, I would save up enough just to get me by and then I would give the rest of it away to people I thought really needed it!
5. I'm childish. I know that's probably a weird "nice thing" to say about myself, but it's my favorite thing... although I think I've said that before. It's worth mentioning again so I can remind myself that I don't want to be one of those people who are so down about everything when I grow up. The day I lose my childishness is the day I completely fall apart!
2, 18 & 26? :)
2. Mommeh was telling me that i forgot something in the car when she dropped me back off at school.
18. Eh.. not entirely, I haven't met anyone this year that has had a significant impact on my life.
26. Chris made me breakfast in bed(that's all I remember;fuck lyme disease)
Questions once more~!
Tagged by gettingridofthefat.
1. Are you happy with your life right now? No, I'm working on it, lol. A 180 turn from what it was last year though, getting better, and always improving!
2. At what age did you find out that Santa doesn’t exist? (or maybe you still believe!?) In a sense, I think I always knew that he wasn't real. My older sibs, on the other hand, really wanted to convince that he was, so in a way, I think I kinda humoured them in making them believe that I believed him? Lol, I don't know. I think I was about 4-5 when I really confirmed all their BS. I was a precocious one :P.
3. Do you say ‘I love you’ a lot? Hell no! Rarely say that at all, lol.
4. What are you looking forward to most this year? Summer. B)
5. Do/did you get along with your parents? No, no one in my family gets along with my parents. We are a dysfunctional bunch .-.
6. What’s your favourite kind of fitness? I honestly don't know yet. I just got back into the swing of things, but I will start Couch to 5K in Feb, as well as a couple of February yoga challenges :).
7. What’s your dream job? Travel around the world and eat food. Like Anthony Bourdain.
8. Did you enjoy school? Yes and no. I like learning knew things, but I don't like the process of things-- if that makes any sense. And the atmosphere in my high school wasn't welcoming; teachers and students-- most of them anyway, weren't very encouraging or pleasant either. Not that I didn't have some nice memories, but the majority of that experience wasn't something I'd recall fondly.
9. If you could give advice to your 16 year old self what would it be? Hey Betty, I know things may seem like shit right now, and in another ten years outside of this hellhole, things might not be that fantastic either. But woman, you have some fight in you. Chin up, don't take all this negativity to heart, prove you have so much more to offer to the world, and help people in pain. Love yourself, forgive yourself, and enjoy life. Because, before you know it, time'll pass you by and you'll realise you really didn't have that much to worry about to begin with; things that once were boulders on your shoulders will reveal to be trivial in reality. Be tenacious, determined, and fight. Don't give up on yourself. You really are beautiful, you know? (In all honesty, I'd like to also address this to anyone who's ever gone through hell, or is fighting through one right now too, man or woman. Writing this made me cry, lol.)
10. What is the last book you read, did you enjoy it? Oh gosh, it's been so long! I can't remember the title... it was some Japanese horror book, lol! It was a compilation of several short stories by the same author. I have to say, they were very imaginative and creepy. Yes, yes I did enjoy it xD.
11. If you could go back in time and change something that happened in your life would you/what would it be? Oh... so many things. I don't know though, because if I did, it wouldn't make me the person that I am today, despite all the hardships I endured. I strive to improve myself each and every day, and the things that have taken place within my lifetime, failures especially, are what engages me in learning from my mistakes and trying new and different things. I can't say I don't regret things, but having these negative experiences are what make the happier, better moments all the more wonderful and magical. If I've striven and worked for something so hard, I'll feel as though I've earned it, and that makes it so much more satisfying.
Thank you for the questions, these were very thoughtful and actually happened to resonate deeply with me, lol. :)
(Sorry, no tags! I've had a few of these lately and I don't want to bombard people with all these requests :x)
