Well, I’m quite astounded that there are still people following me here(?!), and that there are still people adding me to their watches(?? but why? I haven’t been active in over a year, lol... D: ).

I’m not totally active, yet. I might pop in now and again to see what’s up (I’ve missed you guys). An update is probably needed, eh? I know I’ve missed a lot with what’s been going on with you. Oh man. But rest assured, things are well, now.

Sharing a little love around the fam isn’t hard and doesn’t take much, but it has a lovely affect and there’s no better feeling that making someone smile. :)

The best deodorant you will ever use Seriously. 1/4 teaspoon in each pit and you can sweat your ass off, totally stink-free for like 2 full days. It’s a natural anti-bacterial so those little fuckers won’t multiply and make you smell. Plus it’s cheaper and healthier than any deod you can buy anywhere.

Use equal parts of the following:

-corn starch -baking soda -coconut oil -cocoa butter

With a few drops of whatever essential oil you want, for fragrance. Otherwise it basically just smells like nothing. I use tea tree oil & pine needle oil. Cuz they’re MANLY.

Note - It pretty much turns to liquid if it’s warmer than about 75 degrees. If you want to keep it solid, you can refrigerate it or add a little more corn starch.

This is what I’ve been using for about a year now and it works wonders. Not convinced it works? My fiance is literally the smelliest human being I’ve ever met when he’s been sweating all day. I made him some with tea tree oil and he now smells nice and mint-ish as the end of the day, even if he’s been outside working. Not to mention it’s cheaper, smells better, better for you AND better for the environment to make your own :D

Kale & Quinoa Minestrone

1 large yellow onion, diced (2 cups)

3 medium carrots, diced (1 1/2 cups)

2 stalks celery, diced (1 cup)

2 Tbsp olive oil

2 cups diced, fresh zucchini (from about 2 small)

2 cups green beans, cut into 1-inch segments

1 red bell pepper, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 (32 oz) carton unsalted or low-sodium vegetable broth

1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes

3 cups water

3 1/2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley

1 tsp dried rosemary, crushed

3/4 tsp dried thyme

1 1/2 tsp granulated sugar

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

3/4 cup dry quinoa

1 (15 oz) can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed

1 (15 oz) can chick peas, drained and rinsed (aka garbanzo beans)

2 (heaping) cups chopped fresh kale, thick ribs removed

1 Tbsp lemon juice
