Photo-a-day challenge. 2021 Edition #174

Yesterday was a sunny and a warm day. Happy summer finally.

I had promised my aunt way before covid that I was going to visit her so around 11 am I was on my way. I made my way there and we went for a walk, stopped at a coffee shop for lattes and returned home for a late lunch. 

The food was amazing, wine was amazing, company way outstanding. I had a wonderful day.

My productivity levels are zero but I am fulfilled. I received much needed family time. my soul fed a little bit. 

Afterwards i stopped by a couple of shops and returned home around 8 pm.

Photo-a-day challenge. 2021 Edition #173

What did I do productive on this tuesday you ask? 

Absolutely nothing. Now 2 days later I can’t even remember. 

I still have tons of photos to edit. Things that I need to sort in order. I have major block. I’m procrastinating. I am doing everything else but actually nothing. Even the photo of the day is a random out of the window shot, just so that I have done it for the day.

God help me!

Photo-a-day challenge. 2021 Edition #172

Monday.

It’s funny how it keeps coming around so fast but in the moment it never knows to past.

Today was a strange day. I had a few stressful moments in the morning that I encountered, still slightly unsure about how to go around it. But it will resolve eventually.

I transferred some photos from laptop to storage and from camera to laptop. I will start editing soon.

I edited one from an older shoot and posted on instagram.

Later in the day we went to the cinema for the first time in such a long while. We are still not fully out of lockdown but most things returned to how it was before pandemic, only with masks.

Photo-a-day challenge. 2021 Edition #171

Today was a super busy day. I was wrecked at the end of it. 

My hairdresser organized an editorial for a magazine submission. He had planned a team to get together. Two models, make up artist, hair assistant and me. There were 4 looks to complete and shoot. They started at 10 am and I arrived there at 12 pm. We finished at 6 pm. 

It was such a fun day and I got pretty cool shots but I was so exhausted at the end of it.

Photo-a-day challenge. 2021 Edition #170

It’s the weekend and I had so much planned to do. 

I got up, sorted my hair and then I went to meet a friend from Uni that I haven’t seen in such a long while. We had coffee first then moved on somewhere else to have lunch. 

I came back home around 3 pm. Rested a little and then went to supermarket to grab pizza for friends.

We arranged to have a game night with them long before we got sick. Now we’re better we can socialize again. They came to ours around 8 pm. We ate pizzas, drank beer and played card games. They left around midnight. I charged my cameras batteries for the next day’s shoot.

Photo-a-day challenge. 2021 Edition #169

I haven’t left home yesterday. It was a rainy weather that also has continued today.

It poured down heavily today and I already missed the sunny days and 25 degrees from 3 days ago.

I didn’t do much this morning, cleaned the dishes and played on my ipad. I also did some editing on a photo I shot a few weeks back. Then we went out to shops to grab a few ingredients for lunch.

After we had lunch and watched a film, mum called and we watched an episode of a tv show together. Now I will go and have a shower. then probably have some dinner.

Photo-a-day challenge. 2021 Edition #168

This was yesterday. Another day that I skipped the blog. I’m not even sure why I’m still keeping it. Yes it was for the challenges I take on through out the year. But the only one I am actually doing daily is the photo challenge. Everything else I am slacking with. The gratitude jar, I haven’t done it in 3 days, Weekly mindfulness challenge, for many months now I haven’t done it. And the blog is also not regular.

I have fallen of the wagon. I know i am the only one who can keep herself in check and get back to it. But I’m also so disconnected. 

Anyway, at least I haven’t given it up. I’m still going on with it. I will keep it up a year, that was my promise. 

Yesterday, I took on another challenge. It was a different one. My friend in Germany, challenged me again for a Random Item Photo. I used nail polish, food and paper in combination this time. So I was busy with that during the day, shooting it, editing and sharing it to instagram took time.

Wednesday.

I took another long walk today. I found out from the weather forecast that the rain is coming for the next 10 days so I thought I’d make most of the sun.

As for later on we invited some friends over for barbecue but we rained on so had to move it upstairs.
