Do you allow yourself to focus on your Best - case Scenario over your worst? We can change our entire life around if we allow ourselves to focus on the good in life even when its difficult. I remember there were many times in my life when it was very hard and difficult to reach for gratitude. So I started a gratitude practice to help me. This very simple thing of creating a gratitude practice changed my entire life and view of reality. I frequently think about that time and how incredible the power of our words truly are. It was around that time, I just had my first son at one month old, I was on maternity leave, I had to drop out of college, my man lost his job, we literally started from NOTHING, we drastically had to make so many lifestyle shifts, I was so torn on what to do, But long story short, I turned to Gratitude and my entire LIFE began to change. And its been shifting at a rapid rate ever since that moment 7 years ago. Gratitude can be powerful. Focusing on the good in many moments of uncertainty, doubt, dread, fear, anguish, is hard at first but it will begin to physically shift, alter and change your life, the more you actively believe it can. But we all have a choice you see, we can choose to focus on the good and our best case scenario or we can choose our worst case scenario & rely on fear to steer us forward. Gratitude allows us to magnify the good & focus on our Higher truth. Many people who follow my work over time probably know how passionate I am about gratitude challenges. I've hosted a few over the years but what's so cool about gratitude is its so much more than rote writing thankyous. It's about Embodying the feeling of focusing on what you have and what you desire to have as already real. there are numerous studies that focusing on gratitude in our bodies increases longevity, better health, sex life, helps people who struggle with mental health & even physically changes the brain. So I invite you as we go into a somewhat difficult socially distanced holiday to turn to gratitude. Alhamdulillah hari ini lebih tenang dalam menjalani hari, walau pun, gak masak buat Abdul, Abdul makan yg ada di rumah aja.
Pergi ke dokter, alhamdulillah setelah konsultasi, jadi lebih tahu juga, lebih gak panik, yg paling penting dapet resep obat buat Abdul. Semoga cepet sembuh dari pilek batuk ya, Dul.
Menunggu gak selalu bikin bosan, kalo diisi hal yg menyenangkan dan bermanfaat.

I'm finding myself particularly grateful that Mental Health Awareness Day is today. This day, my friends, is an important time to talk about something I only recently managed to understand: it's ok to have bad days. They don't come up as often for me now, but I, like everyone else, can have days where the confidence and love for myself I've been working so hard to develop manages to slip away from me for a while. Days where anxiety makes me wonder if someone's not speaking to me because something bad happened to them or because I did something wrong. Days where depression will try to convince me I don't have what it takes to accomplish the goals I've set for myself. I know I'm not the only one, and I also know there are far more ways a person's mental health can be damaged and make life so much harder for them. I'm here to say that, if you're in the middle of a rough time, be it because of mental health or any other reason, it's ok. You have every right to feel unhappy when something comes up, even if nobody else understands what the problem is. The only thing I'll ever ask is that you do everything you can to not stay in that place forever. I know what the desire to give up on life is like, but the good news is, when you're that low, the only way you can possibly go is up. It can get better. If you make an honest effort and don't let your bad days keep you down for too long, you'll see that things can be different. You just need to find your reason to keep going. Once you have that, nothing and no one can stop you. Thanks for listening, everyone.
