I took this image at the Getty in LA. It feels very different after knowing the history of the Getty family. I recall being at the museum and thinking, wow what a generous family to share all of this beauty with the world. Little did I know my entire view would change after watching the film, All The Money In The World, and doing some simple fact checking. It’s about J.P Getty and his grandson’s kidnaping. The film raised a few different topics. First, capitalism, greed, and the rising gap between the World’s elite and the “middle class”. Also, how the film was shot with Kevin Spacey playing J.P Getty and was entirely re-shot with Christopher Plummer (a very wise decision), after the Me Too revelations. Have you seen the film?
