We haven’t done a #savehayleysmugs in AGES! So seeing as it coming autumn and Tommy is still moaning, I thought we’d start it again ☕️ In case you don’t know what #getyourmugsout is all about, here’s the back story: . . yesterday, the other half and I ended up in a bit of a heated discussion about my apparent “obsession” with fun, quirky, mugs. He, thinks they’re a pointless waste of space and we should bin the lot in favour of a complete set of “normal” (read: boring) matching mugs. I, think they’re an essential part of my life. Why? 1) they hold tea. 2) some hold more tea than others, necessary for summer holiday survival 3) they bring me joy. 4) they look the sh*t on Instagram. I tried to explain that every single one of those “stupid, pointless, in-the-way” mugs has a purpose but he’s having none of it. They have to go. So he’s set me a challenge: every mug I don’t use within a certain time has to be binned to make way for his boring, plain mugs.
