So RESEARCH was done on a sample size of about 15, and the majority seemed to agree on one pronunciation while myself + 1-2 others all from what could be called the greater Mid-Atlantic seem to get this weird pronunciation of 1.5 syllables that is definitely two when said slowly.
I am kind of an idiot for saying incorrect things with such conviction earlier but AT LEAST I LEARNED SOMETHING!
