So I made a new reference for my lizardfolk Sox because my last one was kinda outdated... it had wild shapes with fur which I since decide she does not do, and her regular design has also changed a bit. (Her neck disappeared and she's not as lanky anymore)
Then I also made a reference for her brother, because I never have...he kinda just existed as a mysterious formless entity before... he had a name, and a class (ranger) but that's it.
Then I made a comic about them and their dad Ronan. Obviously none of them are biologically related. He's Fantasy Batman so I just drew him as elvish Bruce Wayne. Why? I rolled for everything in Sox's backstory (along with her race and class) and that's just what I ended up with. I imagine Sox is exactly three years in that comic, she came out of the egg biting and she never stopped.
