guns for hire York selfies since I watched Restoration last night and cried like a baby :'). I genuinely can't wait to cosplay York (and Wash!) again--i made so many cosplays last year but those two were honestly my faves, especially since they were dream cosplays I was finally able to make after 10 years. i adored wearing both of them (I'll prob post the Wash pics next) and am trying to slot them into my con schedule for this year somehow.

What is the gun for hire au?

It’s an AU invented by Synnesai, who is an artist in the RvB fandom. You can see the art here. There’s a blog that reblogs all GFH fanworks from other people who like the AU but I’m not sure the URL of that. The basic gist is that the Freelancers are mercs who live on a planet with poisonous chemical clouds, so they have to wear the helmets, but their fashions are really cool--I’ve tried to find a term for or it and cyberpunk is the closest thing I can find but it’s really not cyberpunk at all. It’s just really awesome.

Incidentally if you RP I run a game on Dreamwidth that uses the GFH world as a setting, I can tell you more about that if you’d like.
