Tales of Treasures Found in Nature

Raku Inoue has been experimenting with elements of nature for her latest series.

Apptly titled as “Natura Insects”, in this compilation, she composes flower arrangements in the form of various insects, found all around us. The result of using  delicate blooms and leaves is very brightly colored arrangements, exuding  a sense of joy. The best part about her series it that it will remind you how it is now summer and that spring too shall arrive soon, a time of rejoice and effervescence in the natural world.

Based in Montreal, Canada, Inoue portrays the intricate details of stag beetles, butterflies, and other insects, using an eclectic mix of flower species to add multitude of hues and you can view this, along with her other creations here.

Alexandra Dvornikova's Mytical Forest

Alexandra Dvornikova, an independent artist and printmaker portrays the mysterious woods in her works.

Actually from Saint Petersburg, Russia but currently based in London, Dvornikova is smitten with the woods and all the magic it holds; the tiny bugs, the plethora of flowers, the gigantic trees, the wild animals who call the forest their homes, everything is her muse and she spends time in the laps of nature to be inspired by them. And this is reflected in her compositions that take her viewers on a fantasy induced ride to enjoy their surroundings and see things with greater attention to detail.

Effortless Underwater Photography

Artist and photographer Ilse Moore is a master of underwater photography.

Her control over the fluid element allows her to feature fashion and portraits with the surreal effect surrounding her submerged subjects.

A dramatic flair accompanies her visuals, striking motion of garments flowing as though caught in  a wind drown out noise and other distractions from the compositions. Most of her subjects are held in a trance like listlessness, where even the light seems subdued and carefree filter through the crystal blue depths. Moore skillfully orchestrates these unpredictable photography conditions into strict yet effortless works of art.
