Enjoyed filming inside of a canoe for the first time. It was a little bit nerve wracking at first but then I got the hang of it. Shot with @moment animorphic lens. Instead of bringing my ursa mini pro, I decided to go super light since I’m doing a lot of run and gun. I absolutely #love this lens. #ghana #elmina #ghanayearofreturn #neverstoplearning #entrepreneurlife #filmmaker #filmmakinglife #moment #travelblogger #travel #oneafrica (at Elmina, Ghana) https://www.instagram.com/p/B0AtPnHFwiy/?igshid=1eoq2w981m40w
I saw an octopus today in person for the first time in Elmina Ghana. I had the opportunity to meet, hangout and eat with the local people and they are amazing. Filming in such unique and breathtaking locations like these feels great. The fishermen here are some of the hardest working men in the world. Every type of fish 🐠 🐟 you can think of is found here. This place is a fishing hub in Ghana 🇬🇭. I also had the opportunity to film on the boats inside the water. Can’t wait for you guys to see it soon. #ghana #elmina #capecoast #elminacastle #ghanayearofreturn #oneafrica #fishing #octopus #neverstoptravelling #travel #entrepreneurlife (at Elmina, Ghana) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bz_ZBA3F0c3/?igshid=1muihq9qci3n0
The day black people stop being jealous of each other and start supporting one another is the day we’ll make the single greatest progress in our history. Jealousy has been and is currently the number one killer in our communities. If someone is succeeding or has succeeded in what you’re struggling with, instead of being jealous of them, you need to learn from them. Unity is our greatest strength. #nojealousy #blackmen #ghana #ghanayearofreturn #entrepreneur #networking #oneafrica #africaunite #powerinnumbers #unitedwestand (at Stumble Inn Lodge) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bz6cF6Wl6b5/?igshid=g2714snvy8vb
My office for the next week. As a filmmaker, you get to experience so many things that challenges and pushes you to keep growing. This place is in Elmina Ghana and it only cost $14/night. It comes with an outside shower and bathroom...it’s amazing. It’s very quiet, extremely safe area, no WiFi, uses solar panels. The only noise you hear are the beautiful it’s chirping and the ocean waves. With the outside shower, you don’t even need a towel because the cool ocean breeze will air dry you in minutes. It’s another great vacation spot in our beautiful African continent. Life here is so simple and amazing. #elmina #capecoast #oneafrica #ghanayearofreturn #ghana #travelphotography #travel #filmmakerslife #filmmaker #entrepreneur (at Stumble Inn Lodge) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bz0oZ60F49I/?igshid=1cd0445cai698
If you love the beach and love to travel, you’ll be right at home in Cape Coast Ghana. I’m amazed at how beautiful and refreshing the water and place is. You have to come here to truly experience the beauty of Africa for yourself because these pictures are only a glimpsed of what you’ll see...really! #capecoast #ghanayearofreturn #ghana #capecoastcastle #entrepreneur #neverstopdreaming #travel #travelvlogger #oneafrica #capecoastghana (at Cape Coast, Ghana) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bzyx0cPlH2u/?igshid=1wjl3pi2y5rfh
I visited cape castle today and it forever changed heighten my perspective about the harsh but true reality of slavery. As I stood at the door of no return, I couldn’t help but think that hundreds of years ago, as a black man, this door was created to make sure that we never return back home. The moment you passed that door, you were given a new identity such as a name, religion, birth date, etc. They completely stripped us from our families to make sure that we as black people would be divided forever. Fortunately for us, there is still hope. If you haven’t been to Cape Coast Castle in Ghana, as a black person, you NEED to...it changed my life and it will change yours FOREVER. It will put things into perspective and you’ll finally be able to put the puzzle together as to why things are the way they are especially for us the diaspora here in the states and around the world. #ghanayearofreturn #capecoast #capecoastcastle #ghana #entrepreneur #neverstoplearning #travel #travelphotography #oneafrica #changeyourmindset (at Cape Coast, Ghana) https://www.instagram.com/p/BzxT4UGFrrm/?igshid=ps988hw6hql3
