👑 - what’s the possession they brag about the most?
“Definitely my van. I love that thing. All the seats fold back, so I can put up a blow-up mattress in there and camp out if I wanted.”
—
🌶️ - can they handle spicy food?
“I like spicy food, but I wouldn’t go order a ghost pepper something-or-whatever, you get me? So I guess I handle it as much as the average person can. I’d eat something with jalapenos on it, but wouldn’t like… bite into one.”

the middle and lower levels of fibonacci may be a little dangerous now and again, but they’ve quickly become some of marie’s favorite places to go hunting for scrap. people might say she has plenty of projects to work on already, that only so many fixer-uppers can fit in her garage, but isn’t enough to stop her.
she’s found something of a miniature junkyard wedged between two buildings. there’s nothing too promising among the piles, but there is a dumpster. the engineer needs to stand on her toes to see over the edge, but what she catches sight of excites her. it looks like discarded parts of a car’s engine.
marie shoots out of the alley to find someone willing to lend her a hand by sticking their arms into a dumpster.
she spots someone pretty quickly. they look a little strange, but they’re easily a head taller than her.
❝ hey! would you mind helping me out for a second? i’m not tall enough to reach something i need back here. just don’t get any funny ideas about mugging me or anything! i have a baseball bat! ❞

Favorite thing about them: I’m rather fond of his color palette! It brings to mind tropical frogs, the kinds with the poisonous skin? It’s very pleasant.Least favorite thing about them: I simply do not know where to look when he speaks with me. There’s nothing to make eye contact with! I suppose I could look at the fangs? Or the pectorals?
‘ ohhh shit, what is that? who you fightin’? ’

“Fascinating. At the very least, if my assumption about your biological functioning is correct. Otherwise its just bad evolution.” Inumuta Houka stepped out of the shadows, his optical camouflage dissipating as he spoke. Revealing his high tech Regalia. At least, one of his uniforms.
“So, do you use echolocation, thermal detection? Do you have extrasensory limbs - your feet, for example? I’d apologize for the prying, but really I’d just be making assumptions otherwise, and I would vastly prefer to have facts.”

“Whoa now! I don’t think--” Oh well, he was yanked down into a dance regardless. He had two left feet, not literally of course but he did more trampling on others toes than he did doing a decent two step. Ah... well... If the stranger didn’t mind their toes being crushed but old, pre-war boots, who was John going to judge! Maybe they were into that kind of thing!
