"locked up because my eyebrow game was too strong,"

“yeah, i’ll bet.” to say that his eyebrows were anything less than outstanding would be a lie. still, even with brows as nice as baekhyun’s, joy couldn’t help but feel a strong sense of doubt regarding his story. she swishes around what little coffee remains in her cup, doing everything within her power to make it last. sooyoung’s hardly had the chance to stop for coffee like this due to recent events, but she’s grateful to have this opportunity right now— it only makes sense that she’d try to make it last for as long as possible.

“hmm… though, the more that i look at you…” placing her coffee cup on the table before leaning forward into the palms of her hands, using her elbows for support, joy stares at the other for a long moment. with most, this situation could easily turn awkward— but not with baekhyun. although it may be awkward for him, joy was confident that she’d make it through this without displaying a hint of embarrassment. as she stares, however, it isn’t long before she feels the corners of her lips rising upwards into a grin that did well to show her interest. “honesty, i suppose it would make sense. even i’ve got to admit it— they’re nice.”

Kiss Kiss Fall in Love:5. Firm Kiss 

Unlike some of the others of her kind, Hana has never really found enjoyment in toying with humans.

She has seen so many of them suffer and perish in the hands of other ghouls all because they have always been easier to fool and manipulate. She has seen them become prey, toys and forms of entertainment for those who have always been more powerful than their kind and most often than not, they end up paying the highest price of all. 

None of this has particularly interested her for humans have always been something short of fascinating for her; she wonders how species can be so naive and innocent. No, she has no intentions of ever switching alliances but at the same time, she often thinks about alternatives for their society. Is it really that impossible for both species to live in peace? 

The answer doesn’t come to her tonight, as she expected, but it still doesn’t stop her from wanting to start that small ripple of change. “You’re too drunk for your own good, you know.” She chastises the giggling human currently nuzzling her. The cab driver looks back impatiently but Hana only smiles at him. “You’re lucky i was the who found you. These streets are not safe for the likes of you.” The drunk stranger only snorts in response and she takes it as a cue to go; she untangles herself from his arms and presses a gentle kiss on his lips. 

“Sleep well, cutie. I hope you dream of me.”

kiss kiss fall in love - still accepting16. upside-down kiss“hey baek, look! i’m spiderman!” reaching a hand out he pokes at his friend on the floor, gesturing to his position on the couch, legs over the back of it, head hanging down where his legs should usually be. many times, as a young boy, he’d done this, and he assumes many other children did it too. the sight of an upside-down room was definitely something many people were not unfamiliar with. 

but he can’t help but laugh at the realisation that to his friend on the floor he could be spiderman, just moments after saving mary-jane. it occurs to him that baekhyun really does look pretty from this angle, not that he doesn’t look pretty the right way up, but it must have been the rush of blood to his head that made him reach out as his friend turned his head to look at him. 

he cups his cheeks, guides him closer, and presses a lingering kiss to his lips. he likes to think this is what it felt like for spiderman, but he isn’t sure the pressure in his head from all the blood is supposed to make it so uncomfortable.

but still, he spares a second to enjoy the soft warmth against his own lips.

–21. then there’s tongue

the red light district isn’t alpha’s usual hangout spot, though that’s more for lack of ever traveling that way than anything else. tonight is different. tonight, alpha finds himself lounging, legs spread, eyes hooded as he regards the man draped prettily on his lap. he’s payed well for a private show, and he’s definitely getting his money’s worth- fingers gripping the man’s chin, using it as leverage to tilt it from side to side. 

“you’re a pretty thing, aren’t you?” he murmurs, free hand resting on the man’s thigh, fingers scratching slowly, oh so gently. alpha’s lips curl up at the corners, just enough to tease at a grin. he’s nearly salivating at the temptations before him, and he would certainly be an angel fallen from grace were he not already doomed to be the demon who drags them down. 

alpha tugs the other closer, the beginnings of a growl rumbling in his chest, possessive of something that’s most definitely not his to take. not here, anyway. but for now, he’ll play pretend (it’s what he’s paying for, after all) humming appreciatively at the delicate slopes of the man’s face, eyes trailing down his cheekbones, his nose, his jawline and then resting on his lips. when he leans in, grip on the man’s thigh tightening as their lips brush, the urge to sink his teeth into the soft flesh is almost obnoxious. truly, there’s something too intoxicating about holding a human in his lap- such a fragile creature- and getting to play. 

he wastes no time in slotting their lips together once more, licking into the man’s mouth almost languidly. alpha is grateful to get to savor the experience- most of the time he spends lip-locked lately he’s drunk or high or both, whereas tonight he’s neither- a low, pleased groan lost between their mouths. 

“fuck, i could just eat you up,” alpha breathes, eyes blown, lips swollen and slick when he pulls back to speak between kisses. “is it…” he pauses then, looks up through his eyelashes coyly.  “…against the rules if i have a little taste?” 

and if his words have a double meaning, well, who can blame him?

Junho snorts. It was adorable how the humans try so hard to get under his skin. It was an attempt that he would have to acknowledge however, he did try and it was amusing if he had to put it simply. Such a small thing wouldn’t bother him of course. He’s heard worse, experienced worse, seen worse scrawled onto the door of his own home. A man as mad as him, as broken as him had long stopped caring for insults and snide comments—well, only if it wasn’t directed towards his height. If anything, it was amusing to see the extent of what people would say just to anger a person.

He leans forward with an innocent smile. “How poetic of you, I could even say the same for you.” He peeks at his watch and pushes himself up from the table.

“I apologize for ending our conversation short,” he takes another glance at his watch and offers the younger male an apologetic look. “It seems that I have some important matters to attend to,” he places a hand on their shoulder, “we will have to continue this another time if that’s fine with you.”
