he knows at least some of the Ishvalan language from spending summers with his grandfather in Ishval as a kid. He also learned some traditional poems, songs, dances and prayers in his time there.
can’t remember if I mentioned this in a previous hc post...but his grandfather definitely kept goats and pigeons so Miles spent a lot of time around them as a kid. the mountain goats around Briggs remind him of his childhood so he loves watching them :)
he is enthusiastic about nice-smelling soap. Just thinks it’s neat
he’s usually part of the team that goes to North City to pick up new recruits when they come in on the train, since he loves meeting newcomers to the fort
he may be a man of few words much of the time, but if he’s around people he knows well, or if he’s had a lot of coffee, he might talk A Lot
