Happy Birthday Benny!!
My baby boy turned 5!!
I love your stories so much! Can you do #7 or #15 for your green eyes au? I hope your hands feel better(˶'◡'˶)
Thank you! They are fun to write! And yes, my hands are doing better, thank you for asking~
15. Trembling Hands
The soft flutter of wings disturbed the silent bliss of the late evening hours. The sound floated through the aged home as a large black, white and gray moth traversed its halls. The insect came to rest within one of the bedrooms taking perch against a wall in spite of the activities around it. The large spots on its wings seemed to watch the room’s occupants.
Allison paced about the room cuddling and singing to her daughter within her arms. The little girl humming along as best she could as sleep was slowly catching up to her. Her mother smiled fondly at her sleepy baby and bathed Alice in one last round of hugs and kisses before laying her down to bed.
Eyes watched the woman bid a final farewell turning the light off and quietly closing the door behind her.
‘Finally, she’s gone.’ A figure thought to himself.
The moth fluttered up to the rim of the crib to look down at its small occupant. The little girl stirred, turning her attention to the large moth perched above.
“Moff.” small hands reached up towards the large insect.
The motions make the insect flinch before floating away from the child. The insect rapidly expanded in the shadows shedding its current form as a large humanoid figure slowly crawled forward. The figure was unnaturally lanky sporting 2 sets of arms that crawled across the floor as he strode back towards the crib. The barest hint of his worn striped suit shown in the dull night light. A soft green glow emanated from the figure's torso as he loomed over the baby. The little girl gazed up at the stump where his neck once was while his head floated a few inches above her.
“Hey little one.” The large ghost softly spoke. His 4 eyes cast a gentle glow on the baby beneath him.
“Moff!” Alice giggled, reaching up for him eagerly.
The ghost looked down at his slightly trembling hands as he stilled from her motions. She wanted him to pick her up again. She wasn’t afraid of him. He was so afraid he'd drop her the first time he held her in his lanky arms.
“Moff?” The girl's voice took the ghost out of his musings.
“It’s ok, Moff is here.” he smiled before extending a hand to her.
Once again to his surprise, relief and utter joy, the little girl took his hand into hers with no fear. Her tiny warm hands clung tightly to his large skeletal cold one. A hint of a frown formed on his face upon studying their physical differences. Something felt wrong. His hand was too big in comparison to hers. He felt too big in comparison to her. He was smaller once. A long time ago, sure, but he was smaller. At least, he believed so. Why did his form feel so wrong? Was he always this way?
“Moff?” Alice’s voice spoke once more with hints of concern, taking the large ghost out of his mental conundrum.
“It’s ok.” He leaned his head to lightly rest his forehead against hers. “I’m fine little one. Shall we play this evening?”
Alice’s face lit up at the word play as she lightly bounced in her crib shaking his hand eagerly cheering. “Play, play, play!”
The ghost laughed at the child’s eagerness. “Alright, alright. Let's see what we can come up with shall we?”
The ghost floated the girl out of the crib to set her down to play, not trusting the slight tremble of his own hands. He feared dropping her, but maybe, someday he’ll be able to hold her without that fear. To be able to uplift this tiny child as she seemed to be uplifting him.
BatIM Green Eyes AU short: A Lesson of Inconvenience
This was a short story born from venting. That is all.
Warning: mentions of injury (a small cut, nothing major) and neglect
15 and 93~
Benny telling a story to his little sister in the late night. Prior to the family knowing he was there, he would tell Alice stories using her toys to play the respective roles. He is very active in her learning and often reads to her, though he isn't always "age appropriate" given what was considered "normal" for his time period vs modern day. He learns over time.
This was supposed to have been a sketch, and it so got out of hand, lol. (If y'all can figure out the song I jacked the lyrics from then you get a cookie lol)
Random doodles/concept sketches
I realize that I'm probably not gonna finish these so might as well just dump them. A lot of it is just random thoughts or painting practice. Some are fairly old so kinda "meh" about them.
Merry Merry Everyone!
Naturally Green Eyes Benny had to get in on the holiday fun~
Funny story. This was the original drawing and had planned on adding in Stitched as well, a sort of combination of the two aus. However S Benny refused to cooperate so he got his own themed drawing leaving GE Benny to do what he wants. So it became a sort of Tim Burton themed holiday xD
On that note Benny's Sandworm is having a field day with it's new chew toy~
Having a little fun with my boy and fooling around with animation.
