DAY 1 FOR ASKING ABOUT UR AU

I know I’ve been putting this off and I’m sorry about that, but I’ve been having art block and I wanted to doodle this out. Gonna have to settle for some half-effort scribbles but oh well, better than nothing

So! We all know about that random dude that tried to kill Nim at the very beginning of the dreamtale story. The same thing happens in my version, but there’s another thing that happens because of this here. The dude’s pure negativity takes on a physical form as a chaotic neutral lil ghost boi thanks to Nim’s magic

Goop does not remember anything that happened or who he even is. All he knows is that he’s invisible to everyone. And then Dream and Nightmare show up! Nightmare is the only one that can really clearly see Goop since he is also pure negativity, and Dream can only see Goop VERY slightly.

So Goop starts to haunt Nightmare! Of course, Night isn’t very happy about this, but they warm up to each-other eventually

They both enjoy chaos, and are really into playing some small pranks like Goop making people trip. Unfortunately, this gets pinned on Night, and that’s one of the many reasons the villagers start to hate him. Eventually things get physical

Nightmare rants to Goop a lot, and eventually he has an idea

“Hey, what if WE hurt THEM?“ Surprisingly, Nightmare is super on board with this idea, if only a little hesitant. He doesn’t want the attacks to target his brother too, and he doesn’t want to deal with it any longer. They make a little deal that if things go south, Goop will help protect Night

Of course, things eventually do go south. Nightmare’s body starts to dust from the acid flowing through him.

Nightmare lets Goop possess his body on the condition that he keeps it alive

Que goop fountain, very painful for both parties.

The fight scene and turning Dream to stone happen (much to nights dismay), and now they’re stuck together

Night is now the ghost following Goop around. He’s very fragile though, and can’t be near mass amounts of positivity for too long or else he starts to fade away. Keeping his promise, Goop builds a massive empire off of creating negativity

Thanks to the massive amounts of negativity, Night starts to reform

And his soul grows throughout the years! Eventually they both want to separate from each other and be their own people again

It’s been over 500 years, and reformation is in sight!

May I have some headcanons of a few UTAU sanses? Namely outfits or behavior wise! (there's a reason i promise)
