Alright time to tell you about a little ghost girl and her brother

Back when I was living with an ex and their mother in an older house we quickly noticed something was there. I don't remember how it started but it started and wound up with the little girl playing games with us.

Her favorite seemed to be ball circle, where we and some friends would sit in a circle and roll a ball between us while talking about whatever. She would stop the ball and roll it different directions. We started leaving an empty spot in our circle for her brother and so it turned into she'd roll it to either one of us or to him. He never rolled the ball back, it would just go from moving to a dead stop in his spot.

And she loved hide and seek in the dark. It was a decent sized house and we were late teen and early 20 somethings so hide and seek in the dark was exciting. She would hide in very obvious little kid places and you could tell she was there because of a sort of.. brighter area? Like she was a slightly lighter dark spot lol. If you told her you found her she would sort of lead you to someone else to be "it" in her place.

One night I was sleeping in a different room than usual, I don't remember why, and I was texting a friend. My phone starts not working so I looked beside the bed and asked for my message to go through, it does and all well, but then I get a message and for an instant the light showed her looking definitely dead. It was the only time I ever actually saw her. She got startled and left, but came back after a but and I held my hand up to comfort her I guess and felt a very small hand take my fingers. I could move my thumb and feel where her hand started. I told her she could get in bed if she wanted and the sheets, not including the comforter, shifted back on me. I didn't move them myself and the comforter stayed right where it was. Then I felt cold pressure on top of me and just kind of.. had to accept there was a ghost child laying on me.

Her brother didn't interact with us much, mostly just standing in my ex's doorway watching them like a guard. We worked out a few things, mainly he wasn't exactly mentally sound, but cared strongly for his sister. Their father in law was probably the one to kill her somehow, and he may have died trying to protect her but idk its been years and I left that house before fully figuring it out.

More ghost talk because I want to talk about him.

The friend I didn't let myself have.

Who's death hurt me in ways I didn't expect.

His name was Tyler, and three years ago he shot himself in the head.

After it happened, I was dreaming.. I was in the first house I have memories of, and he was suddenly there. He hadn't been but then there he was. I was overjoyed to see him, ran to him and started talking to him in ways I'd held back from before. And then I remembered he was gone. I broke down sobbing against his chest, and I think it started both of us because suddenly the dream was right back to where it was before he'd shown up at all. I woke up and felt.. off. Just a bit hollow.

I only told one person he visited me. He didn't show up again untill a few months ago? Time is strange..

This time, he'd ended up a background face in a dream, it happens, I fill in space with faces I know but don't interact with them generally.

The dream played through with him just kind of there

Until the end of the dream, he came running out of a building I was walking towards, all smiles and excited. I remember something about him asking if I'd run backwards because of how fast he normally can go and the time it took him to clear the distance.. I was ok, just confused

And then I was sobbing against him again. Because I'd never get to hug him again, id never get to know him like I'd wanted to.

I woke suddenly again and just.. felt off and empty.

I had to check that id spelled his name right, and unfortunately found that the three year anniversary was 2 days ago.

2 days ago I was irritated and exhausted more than normal. I didn't even know it had happened when it did. I didn't even know the date until I went to write this.

He'd gone to war, survived, lived his page as loudly as he could.. but then he was gone.

I miss you. I wish I had known you.

Fuck it more ghosts

One time, same location

I had friends over for the night, I don't remember what our plans originally were because things changed..

My friends and I were chilling in my room when one of my younger sisters, who had wanted to sleep in the living room that night, came in and said something was bothering her out there, so we went to check. There was definitely something there, but when we all started moving about it ran off to an unused room in the house.

There had been more people living there when we moved in but they had since left. Long story.

So we very stupidly decided to go into the empty room to start asking what they wanted. I put my hands out, palms up, and just kind of waited not expecting much, then something took both my hands. Ice cold around my fingers and palms. I'm like "ok.. that's fine" but then ice wrapped itself around my neck and I was done. We quickly left the room and hid back in my room, because nothing gets into my room. I made sure nothing got into my room the entire time I lived there.

So the four of us were in my room, my sis had gone to her own room, so it's me and my friends. There's a sort of pressure on the door? Like we all could feel like something was just there waiting, angry it couldn't get through, pressed nose to the door. We tried calling my mother on her cell but nothing was getting through, when normally it would go without issue.

Finally we at least made her phone ring, because the second she opened her own door we felt the pressure disappear. The ghosts his back in the empty room and I never went in there after that.

So at like three in the morning four sleep deprived idiots piled into the car and drove to San Francisco instead of staying there any longer 😂

Fuck it I'll talk about more ghost shit uere

I'm reading a VasiO YuuO sorta fic and it's mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm so good but it made me remember ghosts

so ghosts

Back while living in that same ghost dense area I used to go out at night for walks. I was like 13-16 and didn't know curfew was a thing. I'd head out about ten and not be back till midnight or later depending on where my feet took me. Normally I'd end up at the park on the swings, right?

So this one night, I'm on the swings just enjoying the silence that comes with being in the middle of nowhere. One of those bundles of cookie cutter houses between cities like fingers reaching to join the cities together. All that surrounded us was orchards and rice fields.

On this night, I'm just relaxing and then I hear footsteps in the grass. There's no one there, I have a clear view of everything around me. I wait a moment, and the footsteps move to the wood chips in the swing area. I get off the swing and start for home, very aware of the feeling of being watched now as the footsteps stay at a distance, but still following. I stop hearing them while on the sidewalk, but right in front of the neighbor's house I hear a step in the grass directly next to me.

I bolted for the door and was inside so fast.

Idk what was up with that area, but I have stories for days about it..
