“Please don’t cry.” Rose murmurs desperately, pleading to herself and any other Gods or deities out there that she could bring her family, her Mother, some solace. They were words she had repeated over and over again. She had figured a while ago that this, must be her own special hell. To watch her loved ones grieve over something she can’t quite recall, not beyond the flashes of pain and bright lights.
Yet, regardless of whether or not she had been cast into some form of ghost (or guardian angel as she would prefer to see it.) And although the pain of not being seen is far too great to think about, she hasn’t counted a missing face besides hers. Something that makes her feet float above the ground in relief.
“You looked up. You looked up! Ma? Mama? You can see me?”
