One day, a bright flash of light blinds everyone in the middle of town.
Once they could see, they saw Hawks and Dabi sitting in the middle of the road. Dabi has his hands on each side of the Hero's head.
Shockingly, the Winged Hero isn't trying to fight the Villain off. He also seems to be in a daze.
“What are you doing?!” someone demands, no one panicking yet because the Flame User doesn't seem to be burning the Hero.
“Birdy here loves Endeavor right? So I'm showing him my memories of what I know about the Hero,” Touya replies calmly.
A few Heroes show up, but don't rush the two yet, given that the Villain has a hostage.
“That's not your Quirk,” a Hero responds, showing up in time to hear the Villain’s answer.
“I know,” Touya answers. “I got the ability after I died.”
Dead silence.
“.... He's telling the truth,” Naomasa Tsukauchi spoke up, on his way to buy groceries when the light appeared. “Are you a Nomu, Dabi?”
“No, I'm a ghost. From the looks of it we're either in the past or another dimension,” the Fire User said.
“... Truth,” Tsukauchi says, to the shock of the surrounding people. “What memories are you showing him? Are you planning on turning Hawks against Heroes?”
“I'm showing him my personal experiences with Endeavor and no, I just want to show him the truth, not the rose tented glasses everyone shoved onto his face,” Touya grumbled.
“... Is Hawks crying?” someone asks, noticing tears in the Hero's eyes.
“Yes, they aren't fun memories. And before anyone asks, no they won't be falling. Hawks is a Heteromorph,” Touya informs.
“Where are the rest of his wings?” someone asks, pointing at how small they are.
“I burned them completely off. It's taking some time to grow back,” Touya answers, ignoring the horrified, outraged cries that brought.
“If you're a ghost, why do you still have your scars?” this world's version of Hawks asks, landing nearby.
“No idea. I may be subconsciously protecting Dabi’s identity. I didn't have them in our world a minute ago,” the Flame User replied, looking at his scared hands curiously.
“You seem calm for someone who's surrounded,” Aizawa says, stepping out of the crowd, ready to turn his Quirk on at a moments notice, curious to see if it works on Spirits.
“Because the only one who can interact with us is Hawks here,” Touya says.
“Us?” someone asks hesitantly.
“Me and the League,” Touya answers.
“You all died?” Hawks asks.
“Yep. Twice died by his hand, the rest of us by the other Heroes,” Touya says.
