This Isn’t My Graveyard... Closed

Zero was feeling quite sorry for himself right now. He had decided to follow Jack as he went about his duties in the spirit world and ended up losing him. When he thought he had found his way home, he wound up in a graveyard.... But this wasn’t the graveyard he knew. Where were the ghosts? Spiral Hill? Why was there a big house here??

He began barking aimlessly, hoping Jack might hear him and bring him home.

OOC: The internet cut briefly a little earlier, so I decided to work on some Zero doodles before calling it a night! It started with the Pre-Death Zero and developed from there. By making him a dac.hshu.nd, a few of Zero's personality traits are explained, such as why he lives in the graveyard when there's a place for him in Jack's house. Another skullcanon of mine regarding all this is that Zero the ghost looked a little different before arriving in Hallowe'en Town. Think of it like So.ra and company, except the changes are permanent. So when Jack first found Zero in a human graveyard, he looked rather different than he does today. Finally, puppy-sized Oogie. Pretty sure Zero was thinking about a child in that thread... But a tiny Oogie sounded better in my head.

An Unexpected Companion - Oogie and Zero

@snake-eyes-11 Zero was bored. Jack had taken time off work, which was something he never did before. But... He spent all his time indoors. Now that was fine for the first few days, but not after nearly a week. There's only so much waiting around a ghost dog an do!! Armed with his favourite stick, Zero set off on a mission to find someone to play with him. Sally was busy working on commissions, and Zero didn't really know the rest of her 'family' to pester them. The office staff in the Town Hall looked busy, and the Mayor was too stressed for Zero's liking. Oh! Oogie works here too, right? Zero sped down the corridor to the right office... only to find it empty. Odd. Maybe he went on a walk? Deciding this was the case, he did a full lap of the Town and Graveyard with no success. He looked down one of the worn paths and thought that maybe Oogie was in his lair. He was reluctant to go that way at first, but when he decided to go, he travelled down the paths slowly. Jack had told him a long time ago never to come this way, and the ghost was waiting for Jack to pop up and catch him. But... he didn't, and soon Zero reached the cliff-edge where the lair was. He dropped his stick on the ground in front of him and thought. He definitely wasn't allowed inside, but staying out here won't solve the problem of being bored (it'll make it worse actually), so there had to be another way... Wait! "Arf! Arf! Arf!" Cue the ghost dog starting a series of loud barks. He's already dead, he can do this all day until someone comes out!!
