Just like him. But just like him, I'm impure. I couldn't seal her, I had to kill her. My body is gone, and all that's left is this. -It gestures to itself-

-Ghost leans into the hand patting him, though its body is gone it still has a icey cold, solid form.- ,,, I missed you Quirrel, I'm sorry I left. I had to leave so I could protect you. ,,,I didn't wanna leave you alone at the lake, I wanted to stay with you for as long as you lived so you wouldn't feel lonely. ,,, It wouldn't have lasted long though. -It muttered softly, wanting to hug Quirrel but lowers a bit more unsure of it.- I'm sorry for everything I did.

“You did your best and I’m not mad at you. I’d be unfair to blame you for it.” Quirrel hugs ghost despite how cold they were. “The infection is over and you deserve to rest. Hallownest wouldn’t be recovering if it weren’t for you.”

-Ghost's shade offers a bottle of soul and another of hot soup- Here. For Quirrel. He'll be okay right? I want him to be okay, Uncle Quirrel is really nice and I really like him. He deserves to be happy and safe now.

Quirrel couldn't believe his eyes. He thought ghost was dead after the infection was driven away, yet here they are. He didn't notice the soul or soup, instead he just had a simple question.

"Ghost? Is that you?"

Is Quirrel ok? I saw he was sick? Is he still sick? I can go get some soul and food for him to heal him if he needs it, or maybe I can make him soup with whatever bug meat he wants? ~ Ghost, Shade form.

As Quirrel makes memories older ones no longer be ones no longer become relavent, though his long standing memory issues don't help either. Thanks to his delirium, he occasionally hallucinates too.

Soup won't help this but you could retrieve some anyways and soul water to have on hand won't hurt either.
