Ghost-Bat, my fursona. I hope I set up my drawing tablet soon,
More refs and info coming “soon”!~
Just saw your appearance on the Academy Fight Class page off Youtube. Just a question, but even though it's been close to over twenty years ago, do you still retain any of the muscle memory from all the practice you underwent for the swordplay?
Most definitely... I did more then 6 months of sword fighting and I was a dancer my whole life, so I'm sure it's all still in my body somewhere...
thanks for the note.
Well, the thing is, when talking to a blog like yours, for my case, it's always shyness. It's like 'She must have so many friends on here, her own 'Tumblr family' and all. She doesn't have time for strangers.' I mean, I'm sure you're not at all like that, but come on. You get folks with thousands of followers, it's like, where exactly does little old me fit into that in trying to interact? <-- In response to last post.
I hope you know every message I get means a lot to me. It doesn't matter if we've spoken before or not, I cherish every single one, because I know and remember how difficult it was for me to speak up when there were and still are all these QUALITY BLOGS AROUND ME. I actually still don't consider myself quality at all, and am perpetually amazed that anyone follows me. AND I MEAN PERPETUALLY.
I started out not knowing a single soul on tumblr. I had a months-long phase of pressing my face up against glass, ogling at all the tumblr friendships going around slap-happy in front of me. I still ogle, who am I kidding? Everyone I consider part of my tumblr family now, started out just like you. With a message. With a simple greeting, a reply to one of my posts, just something small, something I would notice and latch onto. In fact, for most of them, I was the one sneaking into their inbox with sheepish professions of love, admiration, and adoration; adding really ridiculous and inane commentaries to their posts; screaming my head off when they wandered into my chat. I AM NOT KIDDING OR EXAGGERATING.
And of course I have time for you. I have time for anyone who takes time of their day for me, like you. I don't have a quota for a tumblr family. You are welcome--and by this I mean, encouraged--to message me anytime.
I do admit, it was probably easier to get a hold of me over the summer, because I don't get on tumblr as often during the school year. But I promise, once you try, I notice.
And it's really lovely to meet you. I'm Di, and we should be pals. ♥♥♥
