Omigosh I LOVE Finn! He’s from my story about Greek Gods becoming mortal, and he’s the unaware mortal form of Hephaestus. He’s deaf and works as a volcano scientist.
Full Name: He doesn’t actually have a surname yet, but his full first name is Finley.
Gender and Sexuality: Male, demi-romantic asexual.
Pronouns: He/him.
Ethnicity/Species: Human, British. Actually a god but he doesn’t know that
Birthplace and Birthdate: Wales, mid-october, late-80s
Guilty Pleasures: Shows like Project Runway and America’s Next Top Model.
Phobias: Not so much the dark, but being deaf he tends to panic if he can’t see.
What They Would Be Famous For: He would absolutely hate being famous.
What They Would Get Arrested For: Maybe trespassing? Or stealing volcanic rock samples. He really loves his job.

OC Most Likely To Murder Them: Hera, probably. I haven’t really planned out Ares yet, but I guess he’d be up there.
Favorite Movie/Book Genre: He loves superhero comics, not a big reader.

Why You Love Them: Writing a deaf character was really challenging but actually really fun, and every time something wasn’t coming out right I could just picture him grinning encouragingly and giving me a thumbs up
I suggested my writers group do a session on how to give feedback, and now I’ve been asked to lead it.
Any of you guys who are into writing have tips or ideas on what I should cover?
