Yes it is real silver. The process is called 'gilding' - with sheets of silver leaf laid by hand. No I do not spray paint them, or use any paint for that matter #laidnotsprayed. They're back. FINALLY Ghost cicadas with silver wings will be released in the shop this Friday night at 8pm.
