Plugin Review - Ghostcraft Part 2
So let's see, what didn't I go over last part... the other player kits I don't know about because I never played them, guess by the name.
As a ghost, you are invisible excluding puffs of black smoke wherever you go. (Turn particles on.) You have no armor, but you have a magma cream, a ghast tear, a nether star, shears, a wooden sword, and some crafting tables. 3.
Not sure about the difference between shears and wooden sword. Use to hit. Shears might heal more (whenever you hit someone, you drain health). Also when you use the shears, durability decreases and a weird particle effect/noise occurs. Durability mechanic are similar to the survivors, but it regenerates slowly.
Magma cream, ghast tear, and nether star are all grenades. Nether star is pretty useless. It's like a flashbang, but only lasts for about 5 or 10 seconds. Note that all grenade effects can apply to you. When you throw it, it will land on the floor like an entity and blow up with a splash potion noise in about 4 or 5 secs?
Ghast tear is similar, but the effect is poison. This is quite useful as it can cause chaos and disorder among the players.
^---pro tip: hit and run and hope for friendly fire is what I find to be the best strategy.
Finally, there's the magma cream, which is basically an ordinary blast grenade. Radius is pretty good, so aim for concentrations. However, it makes a loud ticking noise before it explodes sooo people run.
^---pro tip: learned this from coppinator, the number one on leaderboard, played with him for about an hour. He owns. Face. Beat him like twice in 50 rounds. ;.; None of the other 8 people could even hit him. So I consider myself good just for that :) . Basically, the grenade is something you throw. Now, to make people unaware of an impending doom, make sure it hits them at the last second. AKA. Angle. Aim at the sky and predict the path of the grenade. For the player, stay on your toes.
As the ghost, you have another ability as well. When you're in a tight situation, hold right click in order to jump about 8 blocks high. Aim at desired destination. ALSO, the simpler way to do this is to hold shift (or sneak). There'll be a charging noise, which is respective to hwo high you jump. Max charge 4 is about... 20 blocks high? Idk.
Ok. I think that's about it.
