What a dumb reason for JAegon not to give Ghost a proper goodbye. Surely they could've dressed the dog's trainer as JAegon and shot the scene from behind him while he's petting Ghost or something. What a way to get rid of the last direwolf in winterfell. It felt like JAegon just threw away his Stark side and embraced his Targeryan side because -- auntie + dragons. I'm glad Drogon died. There I said it. No dragon for you, JAegon.

Actually they could've just had JAegon tell Ghost to stay in winterfell and protect his siblings while he's away. Then Ghost could go back to being unmentioned and unseen again. Or someone in WF could say he's somewhere in the woods nearby playing with other wolves. VFX budget problem solved.

Seriously, fuck season 8. I'm glad it's almost over. Gendrya was sunk and the story had been so dumb.
