where did you just find a whale vertebrae

well the dead whale was originally found in a harbor across the bay. some fishermen towed it to the middle of the bay to try to get rid of it, but it just ended up washing up on our side right near my town! it became a minor attraction for the locals while it defleshed, and the town officials just finally cleared it for scavenging.

for the writing stuff two options to get comfy with it -

share with mutuals or friends that like to read that genre. people whose taste you like and whom you appreciate so they can give feedback without it being too harsh.

just post it on an anonymous acct with relevant tags and see what total goblin randos say about it

I have maybe two friends who I'm comfortable showing my writing to, and sometimes I can't tell if they just say they like my work for the sake of making me happy, or they genuinely can't think of any constructive criticism. (I love them, really.)

I know being a ghostwriter is quite popular these days, but I don't see much of a point making a new blog/account and then hope and pray the algorithm pushes my writing out to people's feeds. It's so unreliable, especially if you're on an account with 0 followers. Feels a little counterproductive when I've already got an online presence on several socials.

sorry if this is unwanted advice BUT, as someone who typically feels the same way re: motivation to work out - Ring Fit Adventure helped me a lot. earning xp/levels and just "clearing a stage" even if I was just grinding out the same 2-3 for materials is somehow 1000x easier than "go do 5x reps or 20 minutes on this thing"

Aah, I've heard of Ring Fit actually being helpful for people. ANd luckily, I have a Switch! So I will actually look into that :3

I'd prefer it in person tbh. But unfortunately I'm too broke to afford a gym membership, let alone a personal trainer. 🥲
