Let’s talk about Ghost Force!

Guys, Ghost Force is an incredible show that deserves more love. As of this moment I am entirely comfortable saying that Ghost Force and Miraculous are like night and day in terms of overall quality and my personal enjoyment.

I enjoy that one of the major male main characters is the brother to the female main character. I find it unique and refreshing to explore a close relationship that isn’t romantic. I also enjoy that they clearly love each other and it shows.

Their outfits are epic. The aesthetic is epic. The idea is pretty damn entertaining. I couldn’t praise it higher. Frankly, it is a crime that it hasn’t gotten more attention, so I come with fanart to hopefully inspire some curious wanderers to look into it.

To talk a little bit about the piece, I was talking a lot of inspiration from the concept art and movies I used to love like Ghostbusters and The Haunted Mansion for the lighting and colors. I love their already neon glow, it lends itself so well to ghostly concept and I really tried to ride that artistic high it gave me coloring. It was so much fun to color them, I can’t even explain.

If I’m lucky, I hope a portion of you caught the reference to the Animal Jam phantom. Since this piece in of itself was inspiring a lot of nostalgia in me from childhood, I thought I might as well go all the way and threw an Animal Jam phantom in there for a hell of it. It surprisingly fits really well in the environment of the show too, it was pretty much perfect. A match made in heaven.

I love this piece. I adore it. I am so proud of it and so happy to have done it. It was so much fun. I should have shared it sooner.

Glowing reviews for this show, seriously. It’s not the most mature or serious, but I have so much damn fun watching it, which is like the direct opposite of the imposing dread I currently feel watching a Miraculous Ladybug episode.

Look into it. It’s worth a try.

More Ghostforce drawings because I’m hype for second season

For their redesigns, the colored parts of their suits and capes have partical elements from their powers (Myst has smoke and some static from lightning, Krush has frost, and Fury has slime) also they can swap between their cloaked (from the Evolutions teaser) and their armor (with the cape in the back) forms.
