i like this thing because it reminds me that in the emerging lesbian culture in like the 60s a lot of butch lesbians who IDed as women took T to pass as men so they wouldn't get harassed by cops. Leslie Feinberg ( AFAB, author of Stone Butch Blues) identified as "trandgender, female, and a lesbian", presented "passably" masculine, and is preferred zie/she pronouns. Zie was super cool and wrote a lot about how gender and sexuality are ultimately social constructions.

Cannibal Ben

This is Cannibal Ben, another Ghostish. His cause of death was starvation. So, in the after life-ish, he is unable to eat food, but is constantly hungry, and has an overwhelming desire to eat himself. Eating normal food, to him, is like us eating a wall, or a table. There’s simply no way you’re going to eat that mattress. Or even try to. You’re probably not even gonna seriously think about it. Unfortunately, he regenerates whatever part he ate, from that part. So….

Finger? Nom. Full? No. Tad full? No. New finger? No, same.

Sorry, I didn’t want to write it all out. Actually, never mind I can write however I want.

In this picture he’s eating his eye…. If you saw my Spider Lilly post, then you’d know what that means. Him eating himself represents self harm, he’s doing it to make himself feel better, when it actually does nothing but make himself hurt more. When he finally puts it back in, he sews his mouth shut so he can’t eat himself no more. Him being unable to consume food, in the first place, symbolizes eating disorders, although it does not mean all eating disorders are the same.

On the bright side, when he heals, because one eye is always hanging out, and the original one is too small for his sunken eye sockets, he wears glasses! *happy stimming*
