He meets Franks words with a hum, agreement obvious without having to say it . he was thinking of them too, all the people they had lost already . ❝ aren’t you just tired of fighting ? feel like I’ve seen enough for a lifetime . if I survive - ❞ a pause , legs drawn up to his chest while he mulls his next words . ❝ just dunno if I could do what you do. y’know, go back and be an auror . fight even more . ❞ eyes flicker away, instantly unsure if they were words he ever should have let slip, if it made him a coward, if frank would think he didn’t care about this war as much as the rest of them . ❝ I dunno . s’nothing ❞
