The Rules of Ghosts

-They ARE Real.

-You can see and speak to them when you develop at least a minor concussion.

-Ghosts cannot leave the area they died, but what they're confined to depends on the type of ghost. Some are dragged behind unaware Livings. Some are stuck within the cars they died in. Most live in houses or other properties. One exception to this is if it is their Ghost Power. But the longer they stray from the property, the more they disintegrate physically.

-Should you come into contact with one immediately after contact with dangerous levels of electricity, they will possess your body. You are not in control of any physical part of yourself once you are possessed. You are like a witness in the backseat of your mind, and will have vague memories, at best, of what occurred while possessed.

-Each ghost has an ability other ghosts do not. Examples include touching objects, making their singing audible to the Livings, controlling electronics, and producing bad smells. Most Ghost Powers require great effort, but typically when it involves objects. Some Ghost Powers are only witnessed when you walk through the ghost, such as a bad smell.

-Ghost powers are based on either how you died, how you lived, or your personality. For example, a travel agent has the Ghost Power of leaving their death site, someone who died of dysentery has the Ghost Power of bad smells, and someone who was high while they died has the Ghost Power of making people they touch high.

-Ghosts can walk on and sit on objects such as floors and furniture, but walls, doors, and people only can be passed through. This makes deep holes and wells dangerous, as ghosts cannot climb. Ghosts can not pass through lead. They can smell objects and feel heat, like from the sun, but cannot taste.

-Ghosts can touch each other and themselves. This includes adult relations.

-Ghosts spend eternity in the clothes and state they died in. Including glass embedded in the skin, scars, burns, gashes, and any other kind of wound they had when they died or that caused their death. Should they remove any of the objects on their person, it returns within seconds with the same amount of pain that it had when it first hit them. This also includes their clothing. Don't die in anything uncomfortable, or naked.

Ghosts AU April and Casey Jr References

Text: April discovered the Hidden City by accident when two beast riders were tracking down a Yokai cat. Instantly captivated by the culture, she meshed herself well with most of the population her age and made many friends, including her wife Sunita. She's had to take four part time jobs to support herself, and eventually worked at the Komodo Dragon Dojo as a janitor. She quit after witnessing their attempt to brutally train a new child, Jr. Sunita went with her as it was a hassle with the shady dojo, saving Casey in the process, unbeknownst to April. Now, she's informed that Jr inherited a decrepit dojo from his late father's side, and moved the three of them to the countryside of New York to reopen it.

Orphaned at 2 at the Hamato Dojo, Jr was found by the nearby Komodo Dragon Dojo. When April quit, Sunita took him and he's been raised in the Hidden City ever since. Information on his parents is scarce as his mother was in a cult and his father had few ties besides an arrest for Grand Larceny and Extortion. Assumes he was abandoned.

Ghosts AU Sunita and Kendra Info

Sunita's Slime Form:

Text: Sunita is a slime Yokai that spread her influence to the overworld after the Foot targeted her for her pieces of the Kuroi Yōroi. After finding a friend in April, they graduated together and got married. Sunita kidnapped Casey Jr to safety when April's resignation with the Komodo Dragon Dojo got nasty, determined to keep him safe. Despite not needing the money due to her family, she worked as a banker in Manhattan as she liked meeting so many different humans.

Kendra and Donnie started as rivals with the same talents and the same goal, drawing them close for their teen years. As they grew older and their fights more extreme, hormones took over and they started a romantic relationship. Kendra was and is not allowed near Shelldon. Within their brief fling, she also slept with Jason, who she later married and divorced. Once Donnie died, her spark for the criminal craft grew dim, and she gave up the helm of the Purple Dragons. She's taken on petty theft and IT jobs in the years since.
