Send a 👫and I’ll write four headcanons I have about our muse’s relationship

Peter & Sirius were among the first of the Marauders to properly hit it off(aside from James & Sirius), but they were the last two to have the physical barriers drop between them(since we both seem to hc the Marauders as very cuddly people). Peter was the last to accept the idea of curling up with his mates, and Sirius was the first one to succeed in getting him to(probably by sprawling on him over the sofas whether he liked it or not) and remained the first one Peter would go to if he wanted to lean on someone afterwards(though he’d accept Remus and James happily as well).

And because that one was so cute, how about this: Sirius was the one Peter cried out for the most while he was being tortured. He was afraid that shouting for James or Lily would lead to divulging their secret, and he always saw Sirius as more the one to save him than Remus.

Peter is the only one of the marauders who literally never complained about the fact that Sirius destroyed every clothing item he borrowed in one way or another. He had enough money to just buy more of the same(and usually bought Sirius a few duplicates to boot, even though the guy could have done so himself- he understood there was just something about other people’s clothing for Sirius).

There was a moment after Lily and James’s deaths that Peter dared to hope that Sirius would give him a chance. He was wrong.

In Depth Headcanon Prompts;

{ Gonna go ahead & list the people he’d call on while still in Hogwarts and after the Dark Lord’s fall! }

At HogwartsLily’s name comes to his mind first, followed, interestingly enough, by his mother’s, even though he’s always known she’s no help. There is no third name, and he knows no help will come even if he does call for them.

After GraduationAlbus is the first person Severus would go to at any sign of trouble, followed by Minerva, and in their absence, Remus Lupin.

He hadn’t thought much of it, the first time he’d seen them. Of course Severus had recognised the prestigious Black family at King’s Cross at the start of his third year. The fact that they seemed to fawn over the younger brother while the elder stood several feet away didn’t escape his notice, but the significance of it did. Each time he saw the family after that, he saw all the signs that something was off, but never allowed himself to put two and two together to get four, never allowed himself to see the similarities.

Not until one day before the school year started, when he finally had to save up enough to purchase new robes, as he’d finally outgrown his mother’s height too much to continue wearing her old ones, and he’d overheard something entirely undeniable as he wandered the streets before the sun set, killing time so he wouldn’t have to go home. Of course Sirius Black’s home life wouldn’t be stellar, what with him being sorted into Gryffindor in a family that had been Slytherin for generations, but that was none of his business, and he knew he had no right to hear what he had.

By the time Black was rounding the corner, Severus hadn’t yet managed to compose himself, or wipe the shock off his face, and he knew he was in for trouble, knew that even outside school he made an easy target, and that in the open right now he had no choice but to not defend himself.

“I won’t tell anyone.” The words are out of his mouth the moment Black’s eyes land on him, the moment they take in his guilt, and he takes a wary step back. “I know what it’s like- I won’t tell. I swear.”
