Can you tell me about Help! My Alpha is the Ghost Whisperer?
😂 This is definitely a far more amusing working title than the moody, mysterious atmosphere of the fic suggests. It was a Reverse Bang fic that @theisolatedlily and I paired up on and then decided to table until we were ready to write it. Here’s her awesome moodboard! The original premise was her idea too that we’ve worked together into what I’ll share below!
It’s a small-town ABO supernatural murder mystery where Alpha!Harry comes from a cursed bloodline where he sees ghosts and has to help them cross over. Whoever he mates with will end up sharing his curse. An anti-social outcast because of his abilities, he’s always very careful. But after a one-night stand with Louis, a city-boy omega new to town looking for a chance to lie low, Louis wakes up freaking the eff out because there’s a bloody ghost in the room. A shocked Harry is super confused, because he swears he didn’t bite or mate with Louis. So what the hell is going on?!
Meanwhile, there’s a murderer in town. Already too close to the crime for comfort, Harry, Louis (begrudgingly) and the ghost of the victim--some alpha bloke named Zayn who insists on only communicating with Louis--have to discover the culprit before the murderer finds them.
