An open poem to GhostxPerfume.
I haven't written a poem for many years now. She doesn't know me but inspires me. Here we go. There once was a girl of beauty, Blind to her it stayed, Her struggles were of a different kind, To the many friends she gained. Her outer shell of torment, Inside her feelings bled, Kittens, pink and cute things sent, The outside world she dread. Mirrors all lie to her, They whisper until she cries, Instead of the pretty face she has, Clouds shroud her eyes. Oh how I long this girl to know, Not the monsters under the bed, But her value to this world of ours, Shield her from lies spread. To this gorgeous girl I say, You are dearly loved, If not from your family, From me and friends beloved.
