I originally followed you for BNHA but I’m always open to new fandoms. Can you tell me what DBH is? I’ve seen some of your content on my dash but don’t know what it is or where to find more on it. It does look cute though! 💕

DBH is Detroit Become Human, a story and choice driven video game released in 2018 by Quantum Dreams. It’s available on ps4 and I think 5, as well as on the PC to play. If you can’t play Jacksepticeye has great play throughs to check out involving different endings (there are multiple based on the players motives and choices.) Just to keep it vague it tells three stories from three different androids in a modern society of 2038 in Detriot, Michigan. A caregiver, a housekeeper, and a detective prototype. Your choices influence the paths the characters take, which leads to so much interpretation and depth to it as their relationships build or break with those they interact with. Choosing peace or violence, to be careful or reckless, and of course, become deviant or stay a machine.

The pairing I draw though is completely fancanon and was created by the fandom itself! It leaves it completely and totally open to do whatever you want with it given the base lines of Gavin Reed is a 1 dimensional asshole in game and RK900 well says literally nothing and has 1 minute of screen time HAHA but writers and artists in this fandom has given them both so much dimension and personality I couldn’t help but fall in love with their relationship. It was suggested that Gavin and RK900 be paired as partners like Hank and Connor were in game and the fandom hasn’t heard the end of it.

Gavin’s still an asshole, but there’s more to it. Like having Gavin be a cat person, ADHD and other mental health related head canons, caffeine addicted (I see this alot), not completely crude but generally humorous(like vine and tikok references kind of humor depending on the person’s take), smart in his field work and good at what he does, best friend is Tina Chen(which again never says a word but they interact in game), and mostly, has flaws that are rawly human like a bad past/upbringing or fear of abandonment or just lack of self awareness literally there’s so much the list goes on and I only touched the surface. Nothing is right or wrong cause it’s completely up to you! Same with Nines (RK900) mostly seen as stoic and doesn’t take any of Gavin’s bs with a clever and quick quip on his tongue and can start seeing past what truly makes Gavin the way he is, doubting his own self and how to navigate his deviancy and breaking down each other’s walls. It runs so deep with these two I still find new stuff on them all the time. Highly recommend looking at fics on AO3 of these two cause they’re just UGH I love them.

Aw, thank you so much! As for my favorite, I think it has to be Shadow Link! I really relate with him as a character, and I also love how dynamic he is to draw! Green Link is a very close second though!
