i'm so curious about your art process, especially coloring and rendering its so gorgeous!!!
OH THANK YOU that's an honor coming from you bc I think the same about your art! Your lineart and colors are so scrumptious I eat them up everytime
Honestly my process is just "random bullshit go" and hope for the best LMAO but if I were to properly describe it, I really love the old staticky look of classic VHS tapes, so I gravitate towards pencil/charcoal-like textures for my linework and shading with maybe a few touches of water color here and there (also love adding cross-hatching for depth!) And for my highlights I just continuously swipe the eraser at the edges until it makes a good enough shape, it works out ig GHADHA
As for colors, unless I am going for a specific mood, I try to incorporate little hues of colors that I associate with the character's personality across their main palette, basically just warm vs cool tones! But really it's all trial and error I just mess around with different colors until I find one that's like "ooo this looks good 🤩"
