More from 2013.  I went through an attempted chiaroscuro phase.  I was trying to draw Raistlin Majere, and I’m pretty sure I’ve never shown this to another soul.  So, let’s upload this awkward WIP to show strangers online!!!

Another abandoned picture. Okay, so I had this HILARIOUS idea that I never finished, and this is all I feel like salvaging from it.  I was redrawing the opera scene from FFVI/Undertale with Papyrus dressed as Setzer, about to escape with Frisk in his arms. I just got frustrated because Papyrus looked bad, but his outfit looked really good because I was just drawing straight from a reference for the outfit, and it looked badly traced and not interesting at all.  This “I’m so done” Mettaton though kills me.

Okay, I’m probably going to abandon this thing I’ve been working on for the last few days because I’m doing that thing again where everything is boring because I’m drawing straight from a screenshot with no interesting variation, yet I also fricked up the collar bit. *MAYBE* I’ll try to pick it up again because I had big plans to torture myself with fun lighting.  It was a full body picture of him holding out his hand to say “There’s no need to run... this won’t hurt much” while you can barely see light glinting off the syringe in his other hand. I also feel like I’m inadvertently (badly) copying the only other fan art I found in the tags for this lovely bastard so I need to change this up.  My first FFXIV fan art and it’s a side villain with not enough screen time. orz
