Teaser: Diary Entry that starts off my KR story

Just thought I'd give a little teaser to prove I actually am actively trying to write this thing. : D

Hey! Nice to see someone reading my dairy. No really, I don’t mind. I never put in anything I don’t want someone else to find. I love to share. I’ve started a new project again! Yeah another new project, I know, I know. This time it’s going to be good! I’m going to make sure the leaders don’t find it and stop me this time too. They always seem to get in the way when I want to work on stuff. I don’t get why they don’t like inventors, but I guess they don’t like kids messing around. Well too bad! I’m going to do it if they want me to or not! In the past they never knew I was related to it so I never got in trouble, but this time they’ll know. I wonder what kind of punishment I’d get if they found out. What do you think? I saw the kids next door get whipped just for accidentally running into one of the guards. I’ll probably get it pretty bad then if I get caught. I think it’ll be worth it. They won’t stop me from doing what I want with my life! Destron will not rule me no matter what! I will master hypnosis and become like a real siren. I found some books on the subject and couldn’t help but practice it. I’ve been hypnotizing myself all the time to try to see if I’m doing any good. They just think I sleep walk all the time now, so that’s a good protection at least. But today, today I’m going to try to hypnotize someone else. It’ll be a real testament of how far I’ve come. I don’t know if I’ll be able to do it, but I’m sure going to try! If something bad happens to me because of this, at least someone knows why. You who read this dairy knows what happened to me and knows how fearful Destron has become of anyone who shows strength in anything beyond what they work on. If I die for this … If I die please do me one favor. Please burry me with a shell from the ocean.

The Beginning of the Rest of Her Life

So cold. It’s so cold. Everything is so dark. No. Is that dark or too bright? Oh my head. Father? Where’s my father? I can’t remember. Was I in an accident? I don’t remember getting hurt, but it’s winter of course I’d be cold. I might be outside! Yeah! That’s getting some where. Wait. I’m starting to hear something. Is that the chatter of voices? Who’s talking? I need to open my eyes, but I can’t remember how to. I need help. I can’t speak. Maybe my body’s just numb, maybe I’m still out of it from whatever happened so I can’t do things yet but think. I don’t know. I don’t know. I want my father. Where’s Father? Where is my father? Wet. I can feel wetness on my face. Am I crying? I must be crying. Something bad must really have happened to me. I can’t remember anything but I feel like someone’s missing. I can’t think of who but someone’s missing. Where are you? Who are you? Ow my head. Everything hurts. I wasn’t feeling pain before but now. Ow. I can feel the tears even more and the voices are dying down. My legs, wait there’s pain everywhere but my legs. I can’t feel them right. I can just barely feel the cold on them, no that’s warm? That’s the only part of me that’s warm. Father what’s going on? Where am I? What happened? Father? What’s that smell? It is so weird and disgusting. No it’s familiar. Wait! I’m in a hospital! It’s the sterile smell. That means the voices must have been doctors. I really must have been in an accident. That means Father … Why do I still feel like someone’s missing? It’s not my father so who do I feel like I am missing? I feel like someone should be checking in on me. Father wouldn’t, if I’m in a hospital he wouldn’t be visiting. Mother never leaves the house. There’s no one to be missing. I must really have hit my head and I still can’t move. I guess I better just let myself sleep. I’ll see you when I wake up Brother. I hope you will tell me what happened to me. You don’t have to. After all you’re the man of the family.
