Typically canonverse ... except the MCU.  I will read Avengers AUs until the cows come home.  HP AUs, too, but mostly of the alternate-history variety.

oooooh that’s tough.  okay, uh, it’s random, and not really character specific, but that one post about the Ravenclaw common-room door and the kid that answered “not a potato” to all the riddles and was only wrong once?  that might be my favourite headcanon ever.

mhmm I’m not big on clothes because zero self-esteem but I uh, have a bomber jacket that’s really cool? it’s probably the coolest piece in my wardrobe kdjfgnfdkjk and I do wear hats from time to time (am wearing the only I have right now) but it’s super hard for me to find a hat that fits. which is why I usually go for beanies when the weather allows it! shane, buddy, I know your struggle. #bigheadedbuffoonsunite

the first thing that came to mind was “will my life ever get better?” cause right now it’s not really good

Top 5 BFU headcanons?

oh boy, I have plenty of those!! most of them related to shipping because that’s how I live my life, what is there to live for if not shippy headcanons lol 

1. as much as I love the ot3, I like to headcanon all 4 of them together. I don’t like to include helen as much in fics because she’s not exactly an actress/host so to me it feels kinda weird to write about her (for now) but! in my head they’re all together and it’s the cutest shit ever. helen and sara watching bfu together every friday night, shane and helen having completely different tastes in everything but somehow geeking out together over very specific things, ryan and sara being best buds and teaming up against shane, ryan and shane doing all the cute shit we see in cuddles-at-haunted-locations fics!!!! sighs I love them 

2. the boys sharing clothes. I don’t know, I just love the idea of them using each other’s clothes and thinking of the other for the rest of the day, and the owner of the piece just being all :’) seeing that!!!!!!! ryan wears shane’s shirts to sleep when he’s home alone because he honestly worries about being followed home by spirits/demons and there’s always a trace of shane’s cologne on his shirts…,, shane on the other hand just likes how comfy ryan’s shirts and hoodies are and how safe he feels wearing them. 

3. I really, really like ace!shane. this may be in part because @crunchywrites has the sweetest ace!shane fics but it makes a lot of sense to me and it gives their relationshp such an adorable layer of adorableness. the fluff that can come from it!!!!!!!!! GOD I love this concept

4. I honestly prefer to headcanon their relationship as the most open it can possibly get. don’t get me wrong, I love pining and the whole “oh god I can’t ruin our friendship” thing that happens a lot in their fics but in my head they’re always 100% honest with each other and it means they are quite straightforward from the beginning. you know, that thing where they talk about their feelings mid-banter, or where they joke about wanting to kiss each other, or where they go from friends to lovers in basically a “hey can I kiss you” “sure” exchange lmao

5. out of all the supernatural/criminal aus, I like serial killer!ryan the best. he’s just too much into true crime, and he has the guts for gore (more than shane, it seems). besides, he’s too *safe* irl. he looks like he wouldn’t hurt a fly and I’m here for the friendly-looking psycho plots jkgdnkfgfdhbjdk but ngl I also like angel!shane a lot even though I never got around to writing it myself…
