Grayson had let Sofia convince him of going on a blind date she set up and he was actually pretty nervous. He had never been on a blind date before, what if it went wrong? What if he didn’t connect with her at all? He sighed deeply as he fixed his black button down and looked at himself in the mirror. Maybe the all black approach was going to work after all. He made sure his hair was okay before grabbing his wallet and keys. This would be okay. He was sure of it. For the first time in a while since his father died he felt optimistic. He trusted Sofia had good judgement. Making his way outside, Grayson got in his car and drove off to the location, pep talking himself through the whole way there, growing more and more anxious as he did. Gray parked his car and bit his lip as he made his way inside. “Hi, I have a reservation for Hayes, Grayson.” The hostess nodded and led him to his table where he would sit and wait for his date, unsure of what she’d look like. Sofia didn’t even give him a name. God, if this was a flop she’d be hearing from him. // @vivianhenrix
