Summary: Castiel considers the fallibility of the human body.

I don't think I should even be legally or morally allowed to talk about this fic, it is so good. Wait in the Fire by seriously my favorite writer ever (fic or otherwise) ghvsts is one of the most desperately beautiful things I've ever read in my life. It's also the reason I won't write Cas POV because how could anyone, ever, after reading this. We desperately need to drag ghvsts back to the Supernatural fic world.

Every word means a hundred other words. It's tagged: The Art of Not Saying What You Mean but it doesn't warn that you should prepare for fireworks exploding in your mouth. This is written in the perspective of light and color and wave lengths and ocean salt and Yosemite and

and I didn't even know how to create an image for this header. There were like fifteen other drafts and I started it like over four weeks ago - some drafts had waterfalls + volcanos and some with ribbon wings + jellyfish and some with clouds + cliffs and one was Eclipse of the Sun in Venice in July 8, 1842 by Ippolito Caffi but how do you compare art to art? And I feel like that all kinda sums up how I feel about Cas and ghvsts.

Wait in the Fire is an incredible showing of Cas' self and all his tangled thoughts over the years and how he sees himself/his vessel/his everything - and it's so good I don't even know how to sum it up. Please read it - please.

What exactly are ghosts? Are they souls that haven't left to the other side? Whatever that may be. Are they residual energy left by the living? Echos of memories that have slipped the human consciousness? Tricks of the mind making you think something is there that doesnt exist? I really do believe in ghosts cause of experiences I have but I've always wondered what they are
