Talon thought the tiny human — child? — might be dead at first with how still it was, but then its eyes had opened, seeing Talon, and promptly scrambled backwards. Talon wonders what it's doing here alone. Humans this size tend to be well protected by their nest mothers and fathers. Has the little one wandered off? Talon coos again, scooting a little closer. No matter. The tiny human will go cold if Talon leaves it here, and unlike with Talon, humans do not become warm again once they’ve been cold. ------- aka. This fic, and the series that goes with it, is one of my favorite Dick and Jason are brothers fic. It is very cute and they quickly get codependent. Dick finds Jason on the streets and decides if no one else is going to take care of this child then he is. Jason sees talon Dick who doesn’t value himself and eventually decides something similar. Submitted as part of the siblings request for birthday fics.
