So today I saw my ENT, since my GI doc wanted me to see him. It turns out that based on my symptoms he thinks I have endolymphatic hydrops. Idiopathic endolymphatic hydrops is also known as Ménière’s disease. Based on the reading I’ve done since I got home, I think I would have secondary, because SEH can be caused by ear surgery. This makes sense because the vestibular symptoms I’ve been having have been since my craniotomies. Fun times. So he wants me to try a certain medication for a few months and see how that goes. Fingers crossed!

This morning I called my GI doc for an appointment, I see him tomorrow afternoon. For the last two weeks I’ve been having vomiting episodes again, no rhyme or reason, no apparent triggers. I’m really hoping that this won’t be another months-long issue like it’s been in the past. I’ve been absolutely miserable on the days I’ve been sick, and it takes so much out of me.

I saw the gastroenterologist today. He scheduled an EGD for Friday morning. Hopefully the scope gives us some answers, but even if it doesn’t a lot of stuff can get ruled out. I just want answers, but more importantly I want the n/v to stop. The last few days in particular have been rough. I’ve been able to eat today, though.

We just got home from my husband's cleaning at the dentist. Idk why I was nervous and he wasn't. But I also get to go see a GI doc this afternoon. Nervous. AND today is trade deadline for the NHL.

Sure, let's just completely fuck up my GI tract today. So glad anxiety can exacerbate symptoms.
