gorou, unsurprisingly, acts like a total puppy. every time he catches a whiff of your scent, his tail starts wagging, and he seeks you out no matter if he was in an important meeting. you take precedent overall. he'd rather spend his time with you than in a boring meeting when someone else can handle it.
don't get him wrong; he cares deeply for the people of inazuma; however, his instincts betray him. he can't help but give into them no matter how strong his resolve is on something. you make him so weak, it's scary sometimes.
on days where he's given a little more leeway with his schedule, he uses his free time to visit you and take and lay between your legs, resting his head on your stomach while hands wrap around your waist.
he's also prone to gently licking you or biting you, should he let his more animalistic side come out. there's also a particular period in every month where he gets more affectionate than normal. expect him to be on leave for at least three days, so he can stay in your teapot and get the attention he needs.
if you ever ignore him, his ears sag, and he'll whimper and pout until you pay attention to him. on the chance you get mad at him, he walks away with his tail tucked between his legs before sulking away back to watatsumi or komore teahouse.
he's fond of headpats, and he'll place your hand on his head just for them. if you scratch at the base of his ears, you can hear his tail smack against the floor if you two are sitting down.
his tail is super fluffy, and he'll gladly let you touch it. just please don't pull on it. he'll let out a high-pitched yelp if you do, as well as try to massage the base of his tail. he won't get mad, but please be gentler next time.
in the five volumes of instructions that kokomi wrote, some of it contains things related to you. she was prepared for your coming even in times of war. of course, these instructions were specifically issued for gorou since he was the one leading the front lines while kokomi was planning the next course of action.
in the midst of battle, his number one rpiority is protecting you at all costs. it's not like they'll be bale to, anyways, not when he becomes particularly aggressive the moment any of them come close to you. that and the fact that sara as well seems to be keen on not harming you by order of the shogun.
if any of the resistance members don't act cordially, do tell him or kokomi. they'll issue a proper sanction to the perpetrator/s.
he growls at the two resistance soldiers, cutting between you and them with a defensive stance. he can see the fear and surprise swirl in their eyes as he stares them down. gorou bares his teeth, and they know they've done something truly wrong.
"I told you to stand down, did i not? lady sangonmiya has already ordered that should they experience any discomfort within the resistance, it calls for the defect from the front lines of any and all involved." his pointed ears stiffen as his scowl becomes all the scarier. you can't see it, but judging from the soldiers' faces, he must've been quite horrific. "you two will be sent back to watatsumi for further punishment. head back to the barracks now."
they leave without hesitation, scurrying back to the other men stationed at their base. you hear gorou sigh before he turns to you with a worried countenance. he gives your form a once-over, pawing at your sides to make sure you aren't hurt. his ears finally sag into a relaxed state when he confirms you're alright.
"you're okay?”
"i am."
he laughs before tugging you into his hold and nuzzling his nose in the crook of your neck. it tickles as he sniffs your skin. "they won't be so lucky next time. if i catch them again, i won't hesitate to tear their flesh off."
