psa, if you wanna write a fic on the same exact topic of a fic of mine or take direct inspiration from parts of my fics, ask me for permission first and then CREDIT the og fic on ao3 or through a clickable link, and tell me!

It really isn't much effort and it makes you look like a really nice and respectful person! and don't gaslight authors when they find out! admitting a mistake is always good! People won't hate you, I won't hate you, I promise!

Remember that us authors don't make any money off of fan fics, but if this happened with published books it would be a deep sea of legal shit, so practice this before you become a published author and owe people an insane amount of money!
