Short story by Neil Gaiman
The tale of an elderly British matron who buys the Holy Grail at a rummage store.
A few weeks ago I found myself in the middle of the discussion of what a great short story would be for an illustration class to do as an assignment. After picking my brain for some of my personal favorites, I realized the one the perfect tale was Chivalry. It has something for everyone. ( Including myself, the more of thought about it the more I wanted to say "screw the kids! I'm going to draw this as well" )
Chivalry is included in Smoke and Mirrors, but neil-gaiman has another short story collection out this month named Trigger Warning which I would highly recommend picking up. I loved it.
