LOSING YOU | 🎵 Talons’ POV  He knows how I feel when he flirts. He's not going to flirt with him in front of me, is he? He is - I need to keep my cool. Shit, I hate this, but I cannot lose him over this.

Once again, Talon is gripped by jealousy and doesn't even notice his left hand forming into a fist. He felt the twinge of the green-eyed monster. Jealousy ran through their relationship all the time. Thane has a very charming personality, and he loves to compliment others. In the last two years, Talon and Thane have argued several times over this issue. 

The things Talon tells himself drive the emotions he feels. Unfortunately, his unhealthy perception and lack of enough self-confidence led to the fact that Thane turned now into what he feared the most - a ghost of his past, a lost love. 

Talon felt forced to witness how Thane slipped away into a future where he was no longer meant to be.

Gian: [embarrassed] Look, I can leave if you want? 

Thane: [restive] Fuck, no! You are not going anywhere. There is something else I'd like to do. 

Gian: That would be?

Gians’ POV At an unexpected moment, he kisses my lips, gently at first, then reluctantly. The surroundings blur. All appears strangely serene, like the moment of silence between the thunder and lightning. His hot breath expands frantically. Bang. Next, I remember? His lips collide with mine again. The following kiss is one of those that rip the sky open. It is as if he steals my breath and returns it. Suddenly every kiss I have ever experienced feels wrong...

Thane: You’re coming with me! We are leaving. Agree? 

Gian: [breatheless] O-okay.

Thane: [relieved] Let’s get out of here. 

Gian: Yes. 

Thane grabs his wrist, and they walk outside.

Talon:...

The sight of Thane kissing this handsome guy sends Talon shivering. He hadn't anticipated the pain he would feel. It begins to dawn on him that he played with fire. He must stop his obsession before he is consumed by jealousy, leaving him with nothing but ashes.

Having driven Thane into the arms of the other, he now had a legitimate reason to be jealous. He knew this kiss was revenge - you're allowed to be jealous now.

Talon felt like burnin' inside. The pain of loss stung and devoured him. He questioned whether he had finally lost Thane for good? ________ * wording

Talon holds Thane back and turns him around to face him.

Talon: Would you let me explain it to you, please?

Thane: [hurt] Please elaborate on your poor excuses. Go ahead.

Talon: It hurts, I know. In a flash, it happened. I am  genuinely sorry that I acted selfishly. [tilts Thanes' chin] A feeling of irritation and frustration overtook me. 

Thane: [spiteful] Now it’s my fault that you fucked a rando at my pad? Yeah?

Talon: It's not your fault, it's mine. My temper got the best of me after our last fight.

Thane: That, of course, excuses what you did. To start with, you had the nerve to invite a rando over. Secondly, you solve conflicts by fucking others? Is blaming your temper a way to undermine your actions? Let's see how I perceive that. It's still a no for me.

Talon: No, I don't want to downplay anything. I'm telling you how I felt. You were hurt by me, and I'm sorry. Maybe if I remind you that my feelings for you are...

Talon approaches and kisses Thane.

Thane: The fuck you think you’re doing? Stop!

Talon:  Thany - I miss you, us!

Thane: I don’t. Your excuse sucks! [pushes Talon away] I’m done - no wait. We are done! 

Talon: [pleading] Wait..., Thany. [grabs his hand] Fuck, what do you want me to do? Do you need space? Is it that? It's hard to fix what I did, but I'm trying. Don't you see?

Thane: [snappy] How about you leave me alone? To spare me the trouble of dealing with your sorry a$$ again? Oh, and I want my keys back.

Talon: [defeated] I don’t have them with me.

Thane: Bring it tomorrow, and we'll close this chapter.

Thane realizes that Gian saw them.
