The overly enthusiastic hard sell didn’t work out for Tristan, so he’s trying the belly-crawl respectful pleading for acknowledgement. This should get him some better results. Good.

Look how enormous his freckled puppy foots are, compared to Yvaine’s! Huuuuge toe beans. Yv is 23 pounds; Tristan’s dad is about 25 (but built tall), his mom is a dainty little petite lady at 17 or 19 pounds. We weighed him at about 15 pounds last night.

But… giant toe beans.
