I was rewatching The God Complex a few days ago and suddenly I realized something. Why is Gibbis's worst nightmare the Weeping Angel?
Think about it. He's from Tivoli, the most conquered planet in the galaxy. They survive through all by welcoming the invaders, becoming their slaves.
But what about the Weeping Angels? They do not conquer, they don't need slaves. They just appear without warning and take your life away (by sending you back in time or literally). The Angels don't negotiate; they don't take prisoners. They just take what they want and leave.
And I think that's the reason why is Gibbis so scared of them. Because the strategy he relied on his entire life is completely useless when facing the Angels.
